No-upfront-cost inventory recovery assessment
Turn idle inventory into recovered cash.
Send photos, spreadsheets, or invoices. We identify what you have, provide a practical resale or recovery range and plan, and prepare the next steps—without adding another project for your team.
Photos, a spreadsheet, or a rough list are enough. 5 minutes to start.
No upfront charge. Nothing is listed or sold without your approval.
Make space for what moves next
Good inventory deserves a second chance.
No upfront charge
You keep inventory until the agreed pickup process
Nothing is listed or sold without approval
Buyer pickup or freight is considered first
A practical process
A recovery plan, not another project for your team.
Idle inventory occupies space, ties up working capital, and gets harder to move with time. We help turn what is sitting still into structured, marketable supply—without asking your team to become product researchers or listing managers.

Send what you have
Photos, invoices, spreadsheets, PDFs, or a rough list are enough to start.
02
Review the recovery plan
We organize the opportunity and return a practical range and proposed approach.
03
Approve before anything goes live
You review the plan, including the proposed fee, before any buyer outreach or listing.
04
Coordinate the next step
Approved inventory can be prepared for buyer matching, pickup, or freight coordination.
How we get paid
A success fee is visible before you approve.
There is no upfront charge to submit inventory for review. If a recovery plan is proposed, the applicable success fee is disclosed in that plan and shown before seller approval or accepting a sale. We do not state a commission percentage until the specific opportunity is reviewed.
You keep possession of your inventory until the agreed transaction or pickup process. A valuation range is an estimate—not a promised price, buyer, or recovery timeline.
Review the illustrative planKnow the proposed terms first.
- Recovery range and recommended lot strategy
- Estimated seller-proceeds range and proposed fee disclosure
- Buyer-demand and pickup or freight recommendation
- Your approval before marketing or a sale proceeds
Founder-led review
Operating review before a seller is asked to decide.
Andrew Green, Founder & CEO, leads the operating review behind Sell the Surplus. Product uncertainty, restricted categories, incomplete information, and higher-risk inventory are handled with human review rather than assumed away.
About the operating approachHow transactions are handled
Exact seller addresses are not published before appropriate coordination. Seller-confirmed title, ownership, and condition disclosures guide the plan. Buyer verification and added review can apply to higher-risk transactions.
Read shipping, pickup & transaction policyFor buyers
Tell us what inventory you want to see.
Sell the Surplus is building its early buyer network. Buyers can register wanted categories and brands, geography, lot sizes, and freight capabilities to receive relevant inventory alerts when approved opportunities become available.
Registration does not guarantee inventory availability or demand for any particular lot.
Register buyer interestApproval comes before exposure.
Inventory is not publicly listed until the seller has approved the relevant plan. That gives sellers a clear point to confirm product details, pricing approach, lot configuration, and pickup or freight terms.
